Booking Process

Get into contact

When you first contact me, we will agree on the size and medium of the piece, the subject, and confirm the price. If you want any further details on anything during this time, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

Choose a photograph

In order to produce a high quality piece of art, I require a high quality photograph of your pet (or other subject). For pets, the photo ideally needs to be a headshot taken in good lighting. I'm happy to offer tips of taking a good photo if required.

If your pet has passed and you don't have a good quality photo, don't worry, I can still create a piece of art from what photos you do have, unfortunately though, the quality of my art may suffer.

Confirming the booking

Once we have come to an agreement on what you would like, I will take a non-refundable 25% deposit to confirm the booking. I will give you an estimate of how long it may take until it is complete.

Please bear in mind that waiting times may be long due to current bookings. If you require the piece for a specific event then please let me know so I can let you know if it is possible, and do my best to aim towards it.

Creating the artwork

Once I start creating your commission, I will give you regular updates throughout the process. I often will take photos and videos of the artwork to post onto my social media. If the commission is a surprise for someone and you would prefer I did not post the piece until it is complete then I can accommodate this.

Completion of the piece

Once the piece is complete, I will send a high quality photograph to you via your preferred method of contact. I will check you are happy with the piece before receiving the remaining balance. Once payment is complete, I will get the piece sent to you.

For paintings and drawings, I can post them to you (unless we have otherwise agreed on personal delivery/collection). Digital artwork will be sent to you via email.
